We are delighted to share that Neutronic Technologies Ltd has officially achieved SafeContractor certification, a nationally recognised accreditation awarded by Alcumus, one of the UK’s leading health and safety assessment providers.

This approval confirms that Neutronic operates to the highest standards of health, safety, and risk management. It also serves as a trusted mark of assurance for our clients, partners, and supply chain — demonstrating our ongoing commitment to providing safe and compliant services across every aspect of our engineering operations.

What is SafeContractor?

SafeContractor is an independent, third-party accreditation that assesses the health and safety systems and documentation of UK businesses. It is recognised under the SSIP (Safety Schemes in Procurement) framework and sets a benchmark for compliance within high-risk industries such as manufacturing, engineering, maintenance, and installation.

Achieving this certification is not just about ticking boxes. It involves a rigorous review of policies, training records, site audits, and risk assessments — proving that we don’t just talk about safety; we integrate it into everything we do.

What Does It Mean for You?

As a certified SafeContractor-accredited business, clients working with Neutronic Technologies can be confident that:

  • Our health and safety processes meet and exceed legal and industry standards
  • All our team members are properly trained and regularly assessed
  • We are compliant when working on hazardous equipment or in high-risk environments
  • Risk assessments, method statements, and maintenance protocols are consistently implemented and reviewed
  • We are qualified to undertake work involving electrical isolation, motor rewinds, chemical handling, and complex diagnostics

Scope of Certification:

Our approval covers the following services and work categories:

  • General Engineering / Fitting
  • Motor Rewinds and Overhauls
  • Component-Level Repairs for Drives, Servo Systems, HMIs & Industrial Electronics
  • Work on Systems Requiring Electrical and Mechanical Isolation
  • Safe Handling of Chemicals and Hazardous Substances
  • Non-Construction Contractor Activities

This certification is a reflection of our engineering discipline, accountability, and the strong safety culture we foster across every department. The accreditation is valid until 11th June 2026 and is publicly listed on the SSIP Portal (www.ssipportal.org.uk) for full transparency.

A Team Effort Led by Health & Safety Manager Connor Close

Special thanks go to our Health & Safety Manager, Connor Close, and the wider Neutronic working group who’ve demonstrated professionalism, attention to detail, and strong leadership throughout the process.

His passion for creating a safe, compliant, and collaborative working environment continues to drive our team forward.

Building Trust with Safety at the Core

Whether we’re diagnosing complex faults in servo drives, rewinding motors, or carrying out preventative maintenance, safety is at the heart of everything we do. This recognition not only reinforces our internal values but also assures our customers that their equipment — and their team — are in expert hands.
